This retreat provides participants with an opportunity to reflect on how Confirmation calls us to deepen our relationship with the triune God and how to answer the call that stems from this relationship. The time together includes talks, renewal of baptismal promises, Eucharistic Adoration, games, and more.
This retreat for Confirmation candidates focuses on who the Holy Spirit is and how to let the Spirit work through them. We will reflect on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit in Scripture and the symbolism in the Confirmation Rite.
We can provide your school with various retreat experiences that can be directed towards 8th grade, parents or faculty. Each retreat experience is tailored to your needs and incorporates prayer, Christian witness, icebreakers and more.
One of our specialties is providing retreats for each class level. These retreats can either be a single day or ongoing retreats that can provide your grade levels to meet while providing spiritual formation for your students. We do an hour to hour and half retreat dividing your students by grade level (either individual or combined grade levels). Retreats include small group, prayer, and focus strongly on Eucharistic Adoration. Depending on the size of your group, only 2 or 3 staff need to be present, so the rest of the teachers for that grade can either have a period off or conduct grade-level meetings.
We can facilitate your 8th grade class retreats to fill several possible needs. Our retreats for this level include prayer, small group discussion, large group talks, games, and hands on activities. Retreat themes include:
Leaving a Legacy: This retreat helps students reflect on who they are as a person, who they want to be and setting goals to become that person.
We're the Leaders, Now What?: This retreat challenges the students to reflect on the impact they have on the school community, the examples they set for younger students, and what it means to be a leader.
We can form a retreat to help meet your needs. Some of the additional retreats that we can facilitate include:
Our Call to Care: A retreat on the Catholic Social Teaching
Light Conquers Dark: A retreat centered around Matthew chapter 5
The Power of Prayer: A retreat to help experience various forms and styles of prayer
Christian Life = Joy Filled Life: A retreat reflecting on Christian joy and the images of Wheat and Sunflowers
But You, Man of God: A men's retreat utilizing 1 Timothy 6:11
Called to More: A retreat discussing that the Christian life calls us to more than our cultural life does
Power of the Sacraments: A retreat focused on the 7 Sacraments and the power within
Call to Sainthood: A retreat learning about several Saints and our call to follow their examples so that we may become holy
